"Jeju Province (officially the Jeju Special Autonomous Province) is one of the nine provinces of South Korea. The province is situated on andcoterminous with the nation's largest island of Jeju, formerly transliterated as Cheju, Cheju Do, etc., Or known as Quelpart to Europeans. The island lies in the Korea Strait, southwest of South Jeolla Province, of which it was a part before it became a separate province in 1946. Its capital is Jeju City.
The island contains the natural World Heritage Site Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes. Jeju Island has a temperate climate and even in winter, the temperature rarely falls below freezing point. "
I went to Jeju on August. The first impression for me about Jeju is "Wow! The land is so vast!" After some investigation, I knew that many youths already move out from Jeju and go to Seoul for work or develop.
For the first time to visit Jeju, I'm very worry about the weather in Jeju. Because of the geographic, Typhoon always happen in Jeju. Luckily when I visit Jeju, the weather was ok, just had a bit cold and rain.
Jeju is famous with their rock and because of Jeju is a volcanic island, so the rock on the island all is black in colour. So, I had spent some times to go around the island and take photos.
