Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro, commonly referred to simply as Rio, is the capital city of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city of Brazil, and the third largest metropolitan area and agglomeration in South America. Part of the city has been designated as a World Heritage Site, named "Rio de Janeiro: Carioca Landscapes between the Mountain and the Sea", identified by UNESCO on 1 July 2012 in the category Cultural Landscape.
The city was the capital of Brazil for nearly two centuries, from 1763 to 1815 during the Portuguese colonial era, 1815 to 1821 as the capital of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and Algarves, and 1822 to 1960 of Brazil as an independent nation. Rio is nicknamed the Cidade Maravilhosa or "Marvelous City"
Rio de Janeiro is one of the most visited cities in the southern hemisphere and is known for its natural settings, carnival celebrations, samba,Bossa Nova, balneario beaches such as Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. Some of the most famous landmarks in addition to the beaches include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer ("Cristo Redentor") atop Corcovado mountain, named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World; Sugarloaf mountain (Pão de Açúcar) with its cable car; the Sambódromo, a permanent grandstand-lined parade avenue which is used during Carnival; and Maracanã Stadium, one of the world's largest football stadiums.

Heard that, Rio de Janeiro is a Passionate place. So, I also want to take a look for the place! I spent about 1 week in Rio to feel the passionate and go around the place.

The first place i visited is the Sugarloaf Mountain. It is a well known attraction of Rio. Indians call it Paund Acuqua, intended for the tall-standing mountain, and its approximate pronunciation in Portuguese Sugar Loaf (Pao de acucar), together with the shape of the mountains and the Portuguese used to think of  sugar conical earthen molds.

Another place I visited is Monte Cristo
It is not more than 700 meters above sea level, but become famous with a huge statue of Jesus. They spent a full 45 years designed third sculpture, and finally completed in 1931. Total height of 38 meters statue, first minister nearly four meters, nailed on the cross at Calvary hands stretched width of 28 m. Whole statue is made of reinforced concrete pile sculpture, weighing 1,200 tons.

However, the time when I visit Rio was not a festival time. Therefore, I lost the opportunity to see how the people celebrate festival at there. By the way, I do not miss the chance to enjoy sunshine in Rio's beach!

Tibet

The Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), Tibet or Xizang for short, also called the Xizang Autonomous Region is a province-level autonomous region of the People's Republic of China (PRC). It was created in 1965 on the basis of Tibet's absorption into the PRC in 1951.
Within the People's Republic of China, Tibet is identified with the Autonomous Region. The current borders of Tibet were generally established in the 18th century and include about half of ethno-cultural Tibet. The Tibet Autonomous Region is the second-largest province-level division of China by area, spanning over 1,200,000 square kilometres (460,000 sq mi), after Xinjiang, and mostly due to its harsh and rugged terrain, is the least densely populated provincial-level division of the PRC.

Tibet is an another relaxing paradise in Asia for me. It was my next destination.
This place have a bit seem like XinJiang however, it has its own specialty also.
For the first time visiting Tibet, I choose to go there by train. This is because there are many unique landscape that cannot be see if going by airplane. such as mountain, big Prairie and etc.

This is the famous palace in Tibet. Now, it become museum.

This is one of the scene that can be see in Tibet-The Himalayas. The white part on the mountain is snow.

Besides that, also can see the Namcha Barwa in Tibet.

Namcha Barwa or Namchabarwa is a mountain in the Tibetan Himalaya. The traditional definition of the Himalaya extending from the Indus River to the Brahmaputra would make it the eastern anchor of the entire mountain chain, and it is the highest peak of its own section as well as Earth's easternmost peak over 7,600 metres.

Salar de Uyuni

“Salar de Uyuni (or Salar de Tunupa) is the world's largest salt flat. It is located in the Potosí and Oruro departments in southwest Bolivia. The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The crust serves as a source of salt and covers a pool of brine, which is exceptionally rich in lithium. It contains 50 to 70% of the world's lithium reserves, which is in the process of being extracted. The large area, clear skies, and the exceptional flatness of the surface make the Salar an ideal object for calibrating the altimeters of Earth observation satellites. The Salar serves as the major transport route across the Bolivian Altiplano and is a major breeding ground for several species of pink flamingos. Salar de Uyuni is also a climatological transitional zone since the towering tropical cumulus congestus and cumulus incus clouds that form in the eastern part of the salt flat during the summer cannot permeate beyond its drier western edges, near the Chilean border and the Atacama Desert.”

Salar de Uyuni also know as "The sky mirror".In order to see this beautiful scenery, so I started my journey to Uyuni.
This place can be say that is totally full with salt. Even the morning market at there also selling products that made by salt such as artwork. Walking along the road, I can see that there are a lot of workers are carrying out the salt mining and salt production activities.

There is a interesting hotel in Uyuni. The hotel was build by salt.Even the furniture inside the hotel also made by salt. Salt bed, sad wall, sad sofa and etc. Unique right?

The scene of Uyuni is the element that most attract me to visit the place. You will see all white in front of your eyes but there are not snow, there were salt! Besides that, the reflection of the sky through the water also amazing! You even cannot differentiate which one was sky and which one was land!

Norway

Norway,is a Scandinavian unitary constitutional monarchy whose territory comprises the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, Jan Mayen, the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, and the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island.
Norway has a total area of 385,252 square kilometres (148,747 sq mi) and a population of about 5 million. It is the 2nd least densely populated country in Europe.
The country shares a long eastern border with Sweden which is the longest uninterrupted border within both Scandinavia & Europe. Norway is bordered by Finland and Russia to the north-east, and the Skagerrak Strait to the south, with Denmark on the other side.
It shares maritime borders with Russia by the Barents Sea;Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland by the Norwegian Sea; and Sweden, Denmark, and the United Kingdom by the North Sea.
Norway's extensive coastline, facing the North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea, is laced with fjords, a renowned part of its landscape.
The capital city Oslo is the largest in the nation, with a population of nearly 1 million.

I divide my Norway journey into two parts.
The first part is my journey with train. I take the train that known as the world's most beautiful landscapes sections. It is said that some of the Harry Potter train scenes are shot in Norway.
By the way, although this is only about one hour's journey, in addition to see the beautiful area, I can also
experience the Norwegian actually accounted for railway technology. For example, how to overcome the steep mountain, ecological protection, and remains views considerations.

Another part of this journey is Oslo, the capital of Norway.
In Oslo, Oslo Karl Johans Avenue is the main commercial street. Walking down the street you can see the Capitol (Stortinget) and Oslo Domkirke.
There are a lot of museum in Oslo. Such as Filmmuseet, Nasjonalmuseet Arkitektur, Museet for Samtidskunst and Opera Husset. However, Most of them have charge if we need to visit.

Maldives

Listen to the Maldivian Heartbeat!

Maldives, officially the Republic of the Maldives and also referred to as the Maldive Islands, is an island nation in the Indian Ocean consisting of a double chain of twenty-six atolls, oriented north-south, that lie between Minicoy Island (the southernmost part of Lakshadweep, India) and the Chagos Archipelago.
The Maldives archipelago is located on top of the Chagos-Maldives-Laccadive Ridge, a vast submarine mountain range in the Indian Ocean. Maldives also form a terrestrial ecoregion together with the Chagos and the Lakshadweep. The Maldives atolls encompass a territory spread over roughly 90,000 square kilometres (35,000 sq mi), making the country one of the world's most geographically dispersed.
The Maldives is the smallest Asian country in both population and land area. With an average ground level of 1.5 metres (4 ft 11 in) above sea level, it is the planet's lowest country. It is also the country with the lowest natural highest point in the world, at 2.4 metres (7 ft 10 in). Forecasts of Maldives' inundation is a great concern for the Maldivian people.

There are many different islands in Maldives such as Four Seasons, Hilton, Kani, Cocoa, Fullmoon, Paradise and etc. But for this time, I had choose Ayada as my destination. This is because it was new compare to another islands and have many facilities and the most important is the price is reasonable.
These are my suite outlook, nice right?

In Maldives, the entertainment provided are Snorkeling, taking photos, enjoy peaceful life, enjoy beautiful landscape. So, that's how I spend my holiday in Maldives. However, this type of life is not boring at all! Because time like this is cannot be found in real life.
Because of the nice scene, there are many people come to visit Maldives for their Wedding photos and Honeymoon.
They make me so jealous for their happiness. Haha!
When I get marry in the future, I'm sure I will be visit Maldives again for my own wedding photos and Honeymoon!

Bali

I spent my holiday in Bali with my family.

Bali is an island and a province of Indonesia, the nation's smallest province. The province covers a few smaller neighbouring islands, notably Nusa Penida, as well as the island of Bali itself. It is located at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. One of the country's 34 provinces, Bali has its capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island.
Bali is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. A tourist haven for decades, the province has seen a further surge in tourist numbers in recent years.

As we know, Bali is most famous with beach. And one of the famous beach is Water Blow in Nusa Dua.
The wave was very high in the afternoon.

Another place that must visit when in Bali is Uluwatu.
If you have not been to this place before is equal to you have not been to Bali. It was a good place to watch sunset. Besides sunset, there will be dancing performance too! However, the biggest problem will face in there is monkey. Naughty monkey will try to take the tourist personal things such as cap, beg, spec. So, we must be careful.

In Bali, I had try their coffee in Seribatu (coffee plantation) too! It is free of charge to try out 5 different type of coffee! But if you want to try Luwat Coffee, the price is RP50000.

Beside that, there are also a lot of Temple in Bali such as PURA TIRTHA EMPUL, TANAH LOT.
