Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro, commonly referred to simply as Rio, is the capital city of the State of Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city of Brazil, and the third largest metropolitan area and agglomeration in South America. Part of the city has been designated as a World Heritage Site, named "Rio de Janeiro: Carioca Landscapes between the Mountain and the Sea", identified by UNESCO on 1 July 2012 in the category Cultural Landscape.
The city was the capital of Brazil for nearly two centuries, from 1763 to 1815 during the Portuguese colonial era, 1815 to 1821 as the capital of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and Algarves, and 1822 to 1960 of Brazil as an independent nation. Rio is nicknamed the Cidade Maravilhosa or "Marvelous City"
Rio de Janeiro is one of the most visited cities in the southern hemisphere and is known for its natural settings, carnival celebrations, samba,Bossa Nova, balneario beaches such as Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. Some of the most famous landmarks in addition to the beaches include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer ("Cristo Redentor") atop Corcovado mountain, named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World; Sugarloaf mountain (Pão de Açúcar) with its cable car; the Sambódromo, a permanent grandstand-lined parade avenue which is used during Carnival; and Maracanã Stadium, one of the world's largest football stadiums.

Heard that, Rio de Janeiro is a Passionate place. So, I also want to take a look for the place! I spent about 1 week in Rio to feel the passionate and go around the place.

The first place i visited is the Sugarloaf Mountain. It is a well known attraction of Rio. Indians call it Paund Acuqua, intended for the tall-standing mountain, and its approximate pronunciation in Portuguese Sugar Loaf (Pao de acucar), together with the shape of the mountains and the Portuguese used to think of  sugar conical earthen molds.

Another place I visited is Monte Cristo
It is not more than 700 meters above sea level, but become famous with a huge statue of Jesus. They spent a full 45 years designed third sculpture, and finally completed in 1931. Total height of 38 meters statue, first minister nearly four meters, nailed on the cross at Calvary hands stretched width of 28 m. Whole statue is made of reinforced concrete pile sculpture, weighing 1,200 tons.

However, the time when I visit Rio was not a festival time. Therefore, I lost the opportunity to see how the people celebrate festival at there. By the way, I do not miss the chance to enjoy sunshine in Rio's beach!

Tibet

The Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), Tibet or Xizang for short, also called the Xizang Autonomous Region is a province-level autonomous region of the People's Republic of China (PRC). It was created in 1965 on the basis of Tibet's absorption into the PRC in 1951.
Within the People's Republic of China, Tibet is identified with the Autonomous Region. The current borders of Tibet were generally established in the 18th century and include about half of ethno-cultural Tibet. The Tibet Autonomous Region is the second-largest province-level division of China by area, spanning over 1,200,000 square kilometres (460,000 sq mi), after Xinjiang, and mostly due to its harsh and rugged terrain, is the least densely populated provincial-level division of the PRC.

Tibet is an another relaxing paradise in Asia for me. It was my next destination.
This place have a bit seem like XinJiang however, it has its own specialty also.
For the first time visiting Tibet, I choose to go there by train. This is because there are many unique landscape that cannot be see if going by airplane. such as mountain, big Prairie and etc.

This is the famous palace in Tibet. Now, it become museum.

This is one of the scene that can be see in Tibet-The Himalayas. The white part on the mountain is snow.

Besides that, also can see the Namcha Barwa in Tibet.

Namcha Barwa or Namchabarwa is a mountain in the Tibetan Himalaya. The traditional definition of the Himalaya extending from the Indus River to the Brahmaputra would make it the eastern anchor of the entire mountain chain, and it is the highest peak of its own section as well as Earth's easternmost peak over 7,600 metres.

Salar de Uyuni

“Salar de Uyuni (or Salar de Tunupa) is the world's largest salt flat. It is located in the Potosí and Oruro departments in southwest Bolivia. The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The crust serves as a source of salt and covers a pool of brine, which is exceptionally rich in lithium. It contains 50 to 70% of the world's lithium reserves, which is in the process of being extracted. The large area, clear skies, and the exceptional flatness of the surface make the Salar an ideal object for calibrating the altimeters of Earth observation satellites. The Salar serves as the major transport route across the Bolivian Altiplano and is a major breeding ground for several species of pink flamingos. Salar de Uyuni is also a climatological transitional zone since the towering tropical cumulus congestus and cumulus incus clouds that form in the eastern part of the salt flat during the summer cannot permeate beyond its drier western edges, near the Chilean border and the Atacama Desert.”

Salar de Uyuni also know as "The sky mirror".In order to see this beautiful scenery, so I started my journey to Uyuni.
This place can be say that is totally full with salt. Even the morning market at there also selling products that made by salt such as artwork. Walking along the road, I can see that there are a lot of workers are carrying out the salt mining and salt production activities.

There is a interesting hotel in Uyuni. The hotel was build by salt.Even the furniture inside the hotel also made by salt. Salt bed, sad wall, sad sofa and etc. Unique right?

The scene of Uyuni is the element that most attract me to visit the place. You will see all white in front of your eyes but there are not snow, there were salt! Besides that, the reflection of the sky through the water also amazing! You even cannot differentiate which one was sky and which one was land!

Norway

Norway,is a Scandinavian unitary constitutional monarchy whose territory comprises the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, Jan Mayen, the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard, and the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island.
Norway has a total area of 385,252 square kilometres (148,747 sq mi) and a population of about 5 million. It is the 2nd least densely populated country in Europe.
The country shares a long eastern border with Sweden which is the longest uninterrupted border within both Scandinavia & Europe. Norway is bordered by Finland and Russia to the north-east, and the Skagerrak Strait to the south, with Denmark on the other side.
It shares maritime borders with Russia by the Barents Sea;Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland by the Norwegian Sea; and Sweden, Denmark, and the United Kingdom by the North Sea.
Norway's extensive coastline, facing the North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea, is laced with fjords, a renowned part of its landscape.
The capital city Oslo is the largest in the nation, with a population of nearly 1 million.

I divide my Norway journey into two parts.
The first part is my journey with train. I take the train that known as the world's most beautiful landscapes sections. It is said that some of the Harry Potter train scenes are shot in Norway.
By the way, although this is only about one hour's journey, in addition to see the beautiful area, I can also
experience the Norwegian actually accounted for railway technology. For example, how to overcome the steep mountain, ecological protection, and remains views considerations.

Another part of this journey is Oslo, the capital of Norway.
In Oslo, Oslo Karl Johans Avenue is the main commercial street. Walking down the street you can see the Capitol (Stortinget) and Oslo Domkirke.
There are a lot of museum in Oslo. Such as Filmmuseet, Nasjonalmuseet Arkitektur, Museet for Samtidskunst and Opera Husset. However, Most of them have charge if we need to visit.

Maldives

Listen to the Maldivian Heartbeat!

Maldives, officially the Republic of the Maldives and also referred to as the Maldive Islands, is an island nation in the Indian Ocean consisting of a double chain of twenty-six atolls, oriented north-south, that lie between Minicoy Island (the southernmost part of Lakshadweep, India) and the Chagos Archipelago.
The Maldives archipelago is located on top of the Chagos-Maldives-Laccadive Ridge, a vast submarine mountain range in the Indian Ocean. Maldives also form a terrestrial ecoregion together with the Chagos and the Lakshadweep. The Maldives atolls encompass a territory spread over roughly 90,000 square kilometres (35,000 sq mi), making the country one of the world's most geographically dispersed.
The Maldives is the smallest Asian country in both population and land area. With an average ground level of 1.5 metres (4 ft 11 in) above sea level, it is the planet's lowest country. It is also the country with the lowest natural highest point in the world, at 2.4 metres (7 ft 10 in). Forecasts of Maldives' inundation is a great concern for the Maldivian people.

There are many different islands in Maldives such as Four Seasons, Hilton, Kani, Cocoa, Fullmoon, Paradise and etc. But for this time, I had choose Ayada as my destination. This is because it was new compare to another islands and have many facilities and the most important is the price is reasonable.
These are my suite outlook, nice right?

In Maldives, the entertainment provided are Snorkeling, taking photos, enjoy peaceful life, enjoy beautiful landscape. So, that's how I spend my holiday in Maldives. However, this type of life is not boring at all! Because time like this is cannot be found in real life.
Because of the nice scene, there are many people come to visit Maldives for their Wedding photos and Honeymoon.
They make me so jealous for their happiness. Haha!
When I get marry in the future, I'm sure I will be visit Maldives again for my own wedding photos and Honeymoon!

Bali

I spent my holiday in Bali with my family.

Bali is an island and a province of Indonesia, the nation's smallest province. The province covers a few smaller neighbouring islands, notably Nusa Penida, as well as the island of Bali itself. It is located at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. One of the country's 34 provinces, Bali has its capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island.
Bali is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. A tourist haven for decades, the province has seen a further surge in tourist numbers in recent years.

As we know, Bali is most famous with beach. And one of the famous beach is Water Blow in Nusa Dua.
The wave was very high in the afternoon.

Another place that must visit when in Bali is Uluwatu.
If you have not been to this place before is equal to you have not been to Bali. It was a good place to watch sunset. Besides sunset, there will be dancing performance too! However, the biggest problem will face in there is monkey. Naughty monkey will try to take the tourist personal things such as cap, beg, spec. So, we must be careful.

In Bali, I had try their coffee in Seribatu (coffee plantation) too! It is free of charge to try out 5 different type of coffee! But if you want to try Luwat Coffee, the price is RP50000.

Beside that, there are also a lot of Temple in Bali such as PURA TIRTHA EMPUL, TANAH LOT.

Romania

Romania is my next destination!

Romania is a country located at the intersection of Central and Southeastern Europe, bordering on the Black Sea. Romania shares a border with Hungary and Serbia to the west, Ukraine and Moldova to the northeast and east, and Bulgaria to the south. At 238,391 square kilometers  Romania is the eighth largest country of the European Union by area, and has the seventh largest population of the European Union with 20,121,641 people (20 October 2011). Its capital and largest city is Bucharest - the sixth largest city in the EU.

Do you know the mysterious Dracula Duke?
This time, I take the chance to visit to Dracula place of birth -- SIGHISOARA

This yellow building is the place of birth of Dracula.
Now, it become semi cafe and semi exhibition place.

Beside this, I also visited SALINA TURDA.
We all already know what is Amusement Park, but do you know Salina Turda is a Amusement Park inside a salt cave?

Bowling, table tennis, golf, billiards, and the Ferris Wheel can be play in this park.

Don't think they are Stalactites they are salt!
Salt are anywhere in the cave.
The power of nature is really amazing!

Xin Jiang

Yes, this is the another relaxing travel. This time, I choose XinJiang as my another destination.

Xinjiang , officially Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, is an autonomous region of the People's Republic of China in the northwest of the country. It is the largest Chinese administrative division and borders Russia,Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. It has abundant oil reserves and is China's largest natural gas-producing region.
Xinjiang is divided into the Dzungarian Basin in the north and the Tarim Basin in the south by a mountain range. Only about 4.3% of Xinjiang's land area is fit for human habitation.

Very strange right? This is the sight from the aeroplane and can see that north side of XinJiang is cover by cloud but South side is totally no cloud at all. Because of this climate, therefor, there are Oasis in the north side while desolate desert in the south side of XinJiang.

This is the snowy mountain in XinJiang.
This is my first time to see such a landscape!

Please believe your eyes. Photos below are not a painting, they are real landscape of XinJiang!
I also cannot believe my eyes when I step into those place, However, it is real!
This place call Sailimu Lake.
Sailimu Lake located in the territory of Xinjiang Bole, its elevation of 2073 meters east to west about 30 km, 25 km north-south width, perimeter 90 kilometers of water area 455 to 460 square kilometers, maximum depth of 92 m, total 21 billion cubic meters water, It is the highest and largest alpine lake water.
Because the location is higher, the amount of evaporation is larger, the water salinity is 3 g / l and slightly salty.
Besides that, Sailimu Lake also know as the Atlantic last tear.

So this is the another relax travel for me after Pelagie Island. I spent about 3 days in XinJiang.
From this trip, I found that there is still such a paradise in Asia.

Pelagie Islands

It was a normal morning actually....
However, an article attracted me! It is about the Top 10 most beautiful place in the world and I attracted by Pelagie Islands!
So, after a lot of planning and now, I'm in Pelagie Islands!

Pelagie Islands are in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea and are part of Sicily, Italy.
The Pelagie are formed by the three islands of Lampedusa, Linosa and Lampione and geograficly are closer to Africa than Italy.
Lampedusa is the biggest of the three island with a population of 5800, Linosa counts only 400 and the island of Lampione is uninhabited.
The highest point of the three islands is in Linosa that has vulcanic origins and is Monte Vulcano 186m (over sea level).

Did you saw this clear water before???
Can I call this place as Xanadu?
Ya, I spent about a week here to relax myself. Life here all are relaxing, no tall building, no nervous tempo, no noisy...all relaxing.

London

London  is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom and is the largest city in the European Union.
London is a leading global city, with strengths in the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism and transport all contributing to its prominence. It is one of the world's leading financial. London is a world cultural capital. It is the world's most-visited city as measured by international arrivals and has the world's largest city airport system measured by passenger traffic.

This time, I set my destination in London. The first place I visited in London is the London Eye!
It is the world's tallest Ferris Wheel. The diameter of the Ferris Wheel is 500 feet with 60 cars. But unlike the normal Ferris Wheel, there are no seat in the cars. It use about 20 minutes to complete around.
London Aquarium is next to the London Eye.
London Eye

Yes! This is the main character of the song " London Bridge is falling down"
London Bridge

Westminster is the Britain's highest Gothic church. Today's looks are gone through several centuries of renovation made.
Westminster Abbey

Westminster is next to the Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben is its landmark.
I heard that Capitol has 1000 rooms, 11 in the atrium, a total area of 32,000 square meters, and it is the riverside of Gothic architecture!

Besides these landmark, I also had visited National Gallery, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square when I was in London.

Madrid

Yes, I stopped in a country which is full with Classical atmosphere - MADRID.

Madrid is the capital of Spain and its largest city. The population of the city is roughly 3.3 million and the entire population of the Madrid metropolitan area is calculated to be around 6.5 million. It is the third-largest city in the European Union, after London and Berlin, and its metropolitan area is the third-largest in the European Union after London and Paris. The city spans a total of 604.3 km2 (233.3 sq mi).
The city is located on the Manzanares river in the centre of both the country and the Community of Madrid (which comprises the city of Madrid, its conurbation and extended suburbs and villages); this community is bordered by the autonomous communities of Castile and Leónand Castile -La Mancha. As the capital city of Spain, seat of government, and residence of the Spanish monarch, Madrid is also the political, economic and cultural centre of Spain.

First station I stopped by is Madrid Palace. Unfortunately, we are not allow to take photos inside the palace. However, what I want to share is, the palace is really huge! Besides huge, it also have many rooms inside the palace with different style of decoration and very grand.

Beside that, I had found a place call Templo de Debod in Madrid. It is an ancient Egytian temple which was rebuilt in Madrid, Spain.
The most interesting thing about this place is, the building is move from Egypt one by one in 1968, because approximately 1960 to 1970, the Spanish helped Egypt to put their monuments to a place that no flood happen.
So to thank Spain, Egypt gave this temple to Spain as a gift.

Templo de Debod

The Historic Walled Town of Cuenca

Catedral de la Almudena

Beside building, there are also many Buskers all over the place. Madrid can say is a place that full of artistic that I have visit before.

Aegean Sea

Aegean Sea is the symbol of romantic. Before this, I saw it's beautiful only from television series, movie video until one day in 2012, I get the opportunity to visit this beautiful place.

From the second I arrived there, there are only two color appear in my sight - blue & white.  Blue ocean, white building, blue sky, white cloud...

Except the scene, the style of building also attracted me deeply. It just like a big labyrinth!  And the situation there were very relaxing and the people also friendly.

The Aegean Sea is an elongated embayment of the Mediterranean Sea located between the southern Balkan and Anatolian peninsulas, i.e., between the mainlands of Greece and Turkey. In the north, it is connected to the Marmara Sea and Black Sea by the Dardanelles and Bosporus. The Aegean Islands are within the sea and some bound it on its southern periphery, including Crete and Rhodes.
The sea was traditionally known as Archipelago, but in English this word's meaning has changed to refer to the Aegean Islands and, generally, to any island group.

White building and clear blue sea is the symbol of Aegean Sea.
Because of the romantic and beautiful scene, many people will go Aegean Sea to take wedding photo and have their Honey Moon Holiday.

There are two famous beach in Aegean Sea -- Kamari and Perissa. Kamari is a black sand beach while Perissa is a red sand beach.

In Kamari, I had try their seafood. Besides very fresh, the price also reasonable!

So, that's all for my Aegean Sea trip~Stay tune for my next destination~

Alishan National Scenic Area Taiwan

I spent two days in Alishan National Scenic Area, Taiwan. It is a very huge scenic area. And the first feeling when I arrived there, I though I'm in the place where "Twilight" series take place. Hazy, tall tree, rustic train tracks...
There are two pond can be found in the place call Younger sister pond and sister pond. Younger sister pond is much smaller compare to sister pond, and both of them have their own story.

Besides that, there are also many kind of flower can be found in there even can see many kind of sakura flower at there.

The Alishan National Scenic Area is a mountain resort and natural preserve located in the mountains of Chiayi County in Taiwan, Republic of China. It is 415 km² in area. It includes, among other things, mountain wilderness, four villages, waterfalls, high altitude tea plantations, the Alishan Forest Railway and several hiking trails. The area is popular among tourists and mountain climbers, and Alishan or Mount Ali itself has become one of the major landmarks associated with Taiwan. The area is also famous for its production of high mountain tea and wasabi.
Alishan is well known for its sunrises, and on a suitable morning one can observe the sun come up on a sea of clouds in the area between Alishan and Yüshan. Alishan and Sun Moon Lake are, arguably, two of the most well-known scenic spots in Asia.

Jeju Province South Korea

"Jeju Province (officially the Jeju Special Autonomous Province) is one of the nine provinces of South Korea. The province is situated on andcoterminous with the nation's largest island of Jeju, formerly transliterated as Cheju, Cheju Do, etc., Or known as Quelpart to Europeans. The island lies in the Korea Strait, southwest of South Jeolla Province, of which it was a part before it became a separate province in 1946. Its capital is Jeju City.
The island contains the natural World Heritage Site Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes. Jeju Island has a temperate climate and even in winter, the temperature rarely falls below freezing point. "

I went to Jeju on August. The first impression for me about Jeju is "Wow! The land is so vast!" After some investigation, I knew that many youths already move out from Jeju and go to Seoul for work or develop.

For the first time to visit Jeju, I'm very worry about the weather in Jeju. Because of the geographic, Typhoon always happen in Jeju. Luckily when I visit Jeju, the weather was ok, just had a bit cold and rain.

Jeju is famous with their rock and because of Jeju is a volcanic island, so the rock on the island all is black in colour. So, I had spent some times to go around the island and take photos.

Jungmun Daepo Columnar Joints with waves crashing

                                                         Waterfall on Jeju Island, Korea

Another interesting and famous thing in Jeju is the TEDDY Museum! So, I also take the opportunity to visit it! There are many different Teddy Museum, so I choose the FOC Teddy Museum to take a look. I think all girl will get crazy in the teddy museum because there are totally get flood by the teddies with different style, pose, theme and etc!

Teddy Museum
